Vintech LLC was established in 2012 in Culver City, California as the US Subsidiary of the French parent company, Numero Design, of The D3 Groupe, Guyancourt, France.
The US company is directed by Mr. Frederic Robin, Managing Director, and US General Manager, Thomas Fleuret.
The US studio consists of highly skilled professional in-house senior automotive designers and modelers who provide design services to automobile manufacturers throughout US and abroad.
The company provides premium 3 Dimension (3 D) modeling, clay models, sketches as well as design of full-size concept cars and accessories for development and manufacture by the client automotive companies. The company utilizes the ALIAS Autodesk software among others to do the 3D modeling.
At the company’s launch in the US in 2012, the French parent along with the US company, designed a vintage tribute car Vintech P550 which was shown at the prestigious motor touring car event, The Quail in Pebble Beach, California. This automobile show is one of the most prestigious in the world and the company received much positive acclaim and press coverage.
Due to this exposure, Vintech quickly caught the watchful eye of car manufacturers in the United States, who sought out the highly skilled professional senior designers and expert modelers that make up Vintech’s workforce at the US studio.
In 2016 , Vintech LLC moved to a bigger atelier located at 3437 W. El Segundo Blvd , Hawthorne 90250 CA.
Vintech and the French parent, D3Groupe have decades of experience providing unique and cutting edge designs and confidential concept-cars to the automotive industry. Each of Vintech’s employees are top-notch professional designers and modelers with numerous years of experience within the highly competitive automotive design industry. They have traveled the world providing design consultancy to automotive design houses.
Vintech provides a complete study of automotive design and concepts for new cars for new design projects for automotive manufacturers, and such comprehensive study includes:
Provide trend boards of the future environment and feeling of the brand of automotive manufacturer for the customers;
Provide physical sculptures of the themes Vintech wishes to develop in order to inspire the automotive board who will decide to build the concept auto (these sculptures may be done from clay or other materials);
Provide sketches of the design propositions both by hand and computer renderings as well;
Hand sculpting of some cars at the ¼ scale, scanning the clay models and finally modeling some alternative designs on the computer utilizing Alias and Catia softwares.
